I knew Bruce from both Lake Hills Baptist Church as well as from Lake Central High School where he was a fine Christian young man.  It is so sad to learn he has passed away too young. My prayers go out to his wife and family.

Billie Jo, Bruce will be deeply missed.  He was a wonderful Godly man, and a mentor for Peter.  He always went up to Peter, put his head back, and said whats up along with his funny little things he had said made Peters day.  Thank you Bruce for being you!  Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the whole family.

I had the pleasure of being a co-worker of Bruce's at Unilever. He was always up for a good conversation and always had pleasant words to say. I am shocked/saddened to hear of his passing and pray that the Lord keeps all of you in his embrace as you go through this most difficult time. Rest peacefully Bruce....God has welcomed you home.

I thank God for Bruce. The fact that he is a man of God who is leaving behind a wonderful legacy is so apparent from the outpouring of testimony from those whose lives he touched! I hope that you are able to take a measure of comfort and even a holy sense of pride in that; I know that God has used this situation to speak to me and make me want to be a better husband, father, and man of God!

I pray that the Spirit would comfort your heart with His promise that Death does not get the final say over Bruce - he is waiting for us with our Savior, already forever beyond the reach of cancer and heartache. "Death is swallowed up in victory!"

My deepest sympathies as I learn of the passing of a childhood neighbor.  Bruce was a great kid and I've since learned a fantastic adult.

Praying for your whole family,Billie Jo, as you navigate the days ahead.  Bruce was one of the first people at Lake Hills to make us welcome when we started coming! I also noticed that when something needed help doing, he seemed to be there.  I know that Joshua loved him in Awana!  He made such an impact on those boys.  I am so thankful for that.

It is with much sadness that I first heard of my co-worker- Bruce's sudden illness and now his untimely passing. We shared a past history of working at U.S. Steel South Works and then at Lever Brothers(Unilever). Always a gentle man and great co -worker. I will truly miss him. May he rest in peace.
