CARL HOLBROOK WINAMAC, IN Carl Holbrook, age 72, of Winamac, IN, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine (nee Mullins); four children: Diana Staudohar, Tammy Albee, Sandra (late Brian) Kellams and Carl (Donna) Holbrook Jr.; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer (late Nancy) Holbrook; two sisters: Polly (Oliver) Anders and Pattie (Richard) Salas; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. (one- half mile south of US 30), Schererville with Rev. Doug Klukken officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Holbrook retired from Tiffiny Decorating in Chicago, IL with 35 years of service and was a member of the Painters & Allied Trades Union Local #265 of Chicago, IL. Carl loved building, remodeling and was an avid pool player.
