Dear Steve and Family

I just heard about Carol.   I was a friend of Carol’s growing up in Munster.  I have wonderful memories of Carol and her Mom.  I would walk with Carol to school.  Her Mom let us bake fruit cakes and helped us in 4-H.  Carol always had a positive happy outlook.   I moved away and we lost touch but boy we had a lot of good times together.  I am sure she will be very missed to all who were lucky to have known her.  So sorry for your loss.  

Carol was always a wonderful person and we loved being with her. We are going to miss her very much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steve and the entire family.

I WILL MISS YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE WORKED WITH YOU MY ENTIRE LIFE SINCE I WAS 17, THAT'S OVER 32 YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP AND SO MANY GREAT STORIES AND MEMORIES.  WE SHARED SAD TIMES AND LOADS OF HAPPY  TIMES WITH EACH OTHER . AFTER WORKING WITH YOU FOR SUCH A LONG TIME WE BECAME EACH OTHERS VERY TRUSTED  FAMILY. I HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WHEN YOU RETIRED (I WAS EXCITED FOR YOUR NEXT CHAPTER IN YOUR LIFE, BUT DEEP DOWN SO SAD THAT I WOULD NO LONGER HAVE MY BEST BUDDY TO WORK WITH AND CONFIDE IN)  YOUR RETIREMENT WAS VERY EMOTIONAL FOR ME AND TOOK SOME TIME FOR ME TO ADJUST, BUT THIS WILL NEVER BE ADJUSTABLE. IT JUST LEAVES A HUGE HOLE IN MY HEART!!!!!! AND A VERY EMPTY FEELING. YOU ARE TRULY GOING TO BE MISSED AND THERE WILL BE NO REPLACING YOU, EVER.

I am truly sorry for your loss and have so many memories of Carol.  She was a wonderful person and friend.  My family (Chuck, Charlie, Steven and I) are so very sadden.  May she rest in peace.

I was so happy when Carol & Steve included me in their "2019 Nostalgia Tour of Florida". We had a great lunch at the 19th Hole of Sawgrass Players Club. And took a tour of the clubhouse & course, including the famous "17th Hole". We had many laughs...and who can forget Carol's laugh. I'll miss you cousin. 

While employed at the JATC, I knew Carol from her first day at the CU. Carol was always engaging, kind and friendly. We enjoyed many good laughs together, even on my return visits after my retirement. I send my deepest condolences to Steve, Carol’s family and everyone at Local 697 who had the pleasure of knowing Carol. May she rest in peace. 

Carol always had a great smile and kind words. When my wife was going through her cancer, twice, Carol and that entire staff shared kind words every time. As our  Credit Union clerk, she was professional and really worked with our members to make sure our needs were met.
Carol I missed you when you retired and I’m going to miss you that much more!

She was a very nice person. I would stop at the IBEW 697 Union hall and needed help with things and she always helped me and was able to answer my questions. She was the sweetest person. Sorry for your loss. Prayers to the family. 

Steve & Eleanor, the presence of the Lord will overshadow you and grant you peace beyond measure. Just trust in him and hang in there to the end.

She was such a kind person. She will certainly be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Warmth and comfort to Steve, her family and friends. 

My Dad took this picture of Carol with her cousins Cathy (center, my Mom) and Lorraine (left). They were heading out to lunch, Fall 2019. Carol's visits with my Mom meant so much to her, and all of us. She had a big heart and truly valued family. She will be missed!
