A special thank you to Northwestern Memorial Hospital of Chicago’s doctors, nurses, and staff for the best care she could have received. A special mention to the oncology department and the palliative care team, who would call her after hours and on their personal phones, as well as the care she received in her final hours in the Prentice Building. They make it clear that well-being is more than just medicine.
Thank you to her favorite Uncle Bud for providing help and comfort to her whenever needed.
Catherine was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and neighbor and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched.
