I just heard about her passing and was sad as I was just thinking about what I could do for her upcoming birthday.  She will be greatly missed as was a great resource for me over the past 8years.

I just heard the news about Cynthia's death and share the loss with you.  She truly has been like a sister growing up at South Side and then at LCC.  We shared many happy times together through out the years.  My thoughts and prayers are with you now.  Aloha, Betty (Miller) Prahler

What a blessing to have known Cynthia through Bible Bowl.  In addition to being a fantastic quizmaster, she encouraged the players in their faith and took a real interest in their lives.  Her warm smile and genuine compassion will be greatly missed.  Praise God that we will see her again in heaven!  My deepest sympathy to Cynthia's family...your loss is great.  May God grant you HIS peace in this time.

It was great to see the pictures of Ms. Kelley's life.  Thank you so much and I am praying for comfort for her family and friends.  Well will miss her at IUPUI.

Cynthia was a great Christian lady, a blessing to everyone that ever came in contact with her, specialy all of us Bible Bowl Lovers. Our family was so saddened to hear of Cynthia's passing.  Our sons are in Beginner Bowl and Bible Bowl.  She was always so attentive to the kids and really showed them love and concern.  I was enjoying getting to know her, especially recently when she was asking for prayers for her niece.  She had a heart for others.  I am sad that I can't tell her now how much we appreciate her and what she has done for the kids.  But, I trust she knows that and I am grateful she is happy in heaven with Jesus.  :)  Our prayers go out to her family.

My family & I were so sad to hear of Cynthia's passing. We've known her for many years through the Bible Bowl program. I LOVED how she was with the kids, always taking the time to make them feel comfortable before a game. She was truly a wonderful woman. We at Indian Creek Christian Church had the pleasure of seeing her every month & even had the privlidge of worshiping with her every so often. We will all miss her smiling face. I pray peace & comfort for all those she left behind.

To the Kelly Family,

I just want you to know how much Cynthia has meant to me and my family over the years.  My family has been involved in Bible Bowl and Beginner Bowl for many years - and have enjoyed visiting with Cynthia at monthly competitions.  She was always so sweet and kind-hearted.  It was our pleasure to pray WITH her just a few months ago when her niece was undergoing her transplant - and it was again our pleasure to rejoice WITH her when the outcome was very good.  

Cynthia will be missed terribly.

Dear Kelley Family - I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Cynthia.  She and I have worshipped together for a number of years.  She was a tireless worker for Christ.  She always tried to maintain a positive spirit regardless of what was going on around her.  She had a love for young people that was boundless.  I will surely miss this dear sister in Christ.

Dear Cynthias family,

You do not know me but you have to know that Cynthia truly was a light in this world. I met her at Ignite (college age group at traders point church) while she was smiling and walking around meeting new faces and we stumbled upon one another. Ever since out first encounter, we have talked here and there every Tuesday night and she was such an encouragement to me. We may have only talked for a total of 10 minutes every week, but I have no doubt in my mind that Cynthia is sitting with our father in heaven right now and smiling down on us and cheering us on as we run this race to the end! I look forward to spending eternity with her. Her time on earth here was too short in our mind, but just perfect in Gods eyes. The last time I spoke with Cynthia (two weeks ago at ignite! We spoke about what God was doing in my life and somehow wondered on the topic of how
Marvelous it is going to be with we finally get to see Jesus face to face... She hugged me and told me she would see me the following week...but I guess that's just means heaven :) it's funny how god works! We have all been so blessed by Cynthia, but we have all been truly blessed because it was God who has worked through her to shine his glory on the earth. Even if we all live for a blink of an eye, Cynthia lived this life to the full and for the one who really matters. It makes my heart happy to know she is getting her reward in heaven for being his great servant!

Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures of Ms. Kelley; as I know her from my time with her at IUPUI.  My sympathy and thoughts go to her family and loved ones.

Dear Kelley family, You don't know me. Last fall I had the honor of meeting Cynthia and visiting with her for several hours at the home of my sister Annie Calvert in Indianapolis. I found her to be and extraordinary and quite interesting person. We visited about many topics. I was so sad when Annie called me yesterday and told me of her passing. On the other hand, I envy her for now being in the presence of Our Lord for the rest of eternity. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. We found we had a lot in common to talk about since from '69-'72 I lived in Crown Point, taught in Merrillville and attended mass @ St Michael's in Schererville with the Delinck family. I've taken many a peaceful stroll with 'Aunt' Winifred Delinck through the beautiful Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Cynthia will have a beautiful resting place. God bless her and may He be with your whole family in this time of such deep and profound grief. I'm sure Cynthia will be missed by many. I know that Annie and her grand daughter Chelsey will be among those mourning the loss of such a wonderful and dear friend. With prayers and sincere sympathy,

I have fond memories of Ms. Kelley from the IUPUI Chemistry Department.  She expected and inspired us to put forth our best efforts. She was always smiling and had a wonderful way of teaching and helping students.  When Ms. Kelley was proud of you, it meant a lot...I will miss her.

I am a student at IUPUI and Ms Kelley was my supervisor for the labs that I taught.  She was a wonderful lady, always with encouraging words for her students.  I will miss our conversations in between labs.

Ms. Kelley was certainly the most kind-hearted person I have ever met. She was strong willed and admirably strong in her faith. Every Monday and Wednesday mornings, I got to spend time with her while we talked about her family and our day to day activities. I have really looked up to her and she has been a great mentor and friend. She was such a wonderful person to begin those days with and I will really miss her. I send my condolences to her family whom she talked and cared so much about.

Cynthia was a new face to the Traders Point young adults this year, but she was always very warm and welcoming.  She was always smiling.  She has a true servant's heart and was passionate about sharing the love of Christ with people and building into the lives of the next generation.  We will miss you Cynthia!

We have known Cynthia for many years through Bible Bowl.  She always had a ready smile and an interest in everyone.  I, and those from the New Brunswick teams, want to express our condolences to her family and friends.  We will miss her greatly but can 'see' her now with a smile that will never cease  Love ya and miss ya, Cynthia!!
