Daniel R. Lutz age 64, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. He is survived by his sister, Delayne (David) Krol; brother in law, Jerry Faitz and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Robyn and Charlotte Lutz; brother, Terry Lutz and sister, Debbie Faitz. Dan was born in Hammond, IN and was a 1971 graduate of Merrillville High School. He retired from Inland Steel with 30 years of service. Dan was an avid fan of the Indy 500 and a car enthusiast. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN) with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating.
