Darlene was the loving wife of 54 years to Paul Graves; cherished mother to Venus (Michael Wood) Graves and the late Richard Graves; mother-in-law to Jackie Graves; beloved grandmother to Casey, Derrick, and Matthew Graves; great-grandmother to Penelope and Rosaleigh; sister to John Ables, the late Kathy Nelson, Colleen Klotz, and Terry Peterson; and Aunt to many.
She retired after over 20 years of service as a bookkeeper at the Hammond Department of Motor Vehicles. In her younger years, she worked for Milhan's Florist in Dolton, where she learned and still used her green thumb. Darlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who love her.
