Donald P. Peters

Donald was born July 7, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Marvin and Mildred (Wade) Peters.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 46 years Deborah (LeDuc) Peters; daughters, Christy (Michael) Garner and Gina (Adam) Gossett; grandchildren, Brody and Kairi Gossett; brother, David (Jean) Peters; sister, Cathy Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Mr. Peters is a 1969 Lake Central High School graduate, shortly after he became a member of the Boilermaker Local #374. He is a faithful member of Crown Point Holiness Church. Donald was a avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, gardening and barbequing. He especially loved being a granddad, sharing his interests and spoiling his grandkids.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN). Funeral services will be Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Frank Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
