Doris J. Mc Cann Martin

Doris was born May 21, 1937, to the late Jerome and Amanda (Hosey) McCann. Also preceding her in death are her loving husband, Edward “Joe” Martin; son, Brett Martin; sisters, Wanda Miller, Helen Lind, Delores Rogers, Geri Paganelli, Rosemary Doell.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joseph Martin and Mark Martin; daughters, Rose Marie (James) Schultz and Ruth Ann Scheidt; sister-in-law, Geraldine Pelham; nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Mrs. Martin was a loving and devoted caretaker for her family. She was a generous and helping friend to many. Doris will be missed by all those who loved her.

Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Funeral services will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Mischler officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
