Dorothy J. Valenzuela

Dorothy was the loving wife to the late Henry Valenzuela; devoted mother to Catherine (the late Glenn) Miller, Rebecca Stephen, Randy (Dora) Stephen, Jeffrey Stephen, Victoria (Robert) Sexton, Timothy (Polly) Stephen, David Stephen, Jennifer (David) Brouillette, and the late Richard Stephen; proud Nana of 22 grandchildren; great-grandmother of 28; great-great grandmother of one; cherished sister to Loretta (the late Bill) Hargrove, Ralph (Jeanette) Hill, the late Alan Hill, the late Norman (Doris) Hill, the late James Hill, and the late Vivian Roark; and beloved aunt to many nieces nephews.

She was preceded by grandaughter, Jamie Stephen and Randy Michael Stephen.

Dorothy was a talented cook and enjoyed cooking for those she loved. She was loyal Cubs and Bears fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her large family.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of her Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
