Earl W. Myers Jr.

Earl W. Myers Jr. age 79, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Earl is survived by his children: Ginger (James) Klimczyk, Cheryl (Dave) Fifield, Mike (Vickie) Myers and Kevin (Lana) Myers; grandchildren: Nikki Klimczyk, James Klimczyk, Matt (fiancé Emily Brennan) Fifield, Cory Fifield, Ryan (Aubree) Myers, Natalie (Steven) Konopasek; Marisa Myers and Zachary Myers; two great grandchildren and former wife and best friend, Harriet Chapman. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ellen Myers and son, Earl Myers. Jr. proudly served our country in the US Marines and the US Army. He retired from US Steel as a foreman in the main garage with 33 years of service. Jr. was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed time spent with family and his beloved dogs. Jr was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN) with Pastor James Williams officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday morning at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service.
