Edith Louise Crowley, age 89, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012. She is survived by her loving children: Brenda (Luther) Selby, Paul (Kathy) Crowley, Sharon Jones, and Roger (Veronica) Crowley; grandmother of 11; great grandmother of 26; great-great grandmother of two; dear sister of Hilda Jones, Jane Mlachas, Eva Lou Quinn, and Joyce Petty. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanton L. Crowley; and son, James L. Crowley. Edith enjoyed word search puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She dedicated her life to raising her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN) with Pastor Ken Smith officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service (1:00 p.m.).
