

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Henry and Rosemary Hammersten, and her sister, Dawn Hammersten.
She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Jonathan Logsdon; her cherished sons, William Mentink, Benjamin Mentink, and Robert Mentink; her brother, Henry (Jennifer) Hammersten; and her beloved dogs, Molly and Daisy, who brought her endless joy and companionship.
Elizabeth was a woman of deep faith whose relationship with God guided her throughout her life. She found happiness in tending her garden, preparing meals for family and friends, volunteering at her church, and surrounding herself with the color purple, which reflected her vibrant spirit. She especially treasured time spent with her family and her faithful canine companions. Elizabeth's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her will be remembered by all who knew her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Elizabeth on June 9, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
