Emily Ann Watroba

Emily joined her husband Carl W. Watroba, Sr. in death and is survived by their children, Carl (Melissa) Watroba, Diana (David) Stretton, and Donna (Alan) Spradlin; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to celebrate Emily's life at the Visitation on Monday, May 19th, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Schererville. She will be placed to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN, following Mass.

Emily was a devout Catholic with over 45 years of service to the church. She worked as a catechist, a religious director, and with the Good Shepherd Program. She loved her family and enjoyed crafting and making Zentangles. She loved spreading her love and light to others and worked to make others feel comfortable with God's love.

Emily was married to Carl for 56 years and has been longing to be with him again since his passing four years ago. Emily spent time with her family and enjoyed her "little sister" Diane, nurse Amy, and cared deeply about her best friend, Linda Bonin. She will be deeply missed.
