September 30, 2012

Dear Dave and Joe and families, I was so sad to hear about your Mom this morning. I always thought she would outlive all of us. I think back to when we were kids and all the crazy stuff she put up with and I just know she's still got a big smile on her face and she's looking down from Heaven with a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies and watching over all of us who thought of her as "Mom." My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families. Know that Julie and I are so sorry for your loss, because I know how much your Mom was loved and what a warm, loving Mother and Grandmother she was. I am so sorry I cannot make it to the service tomorrow...I feel terrible about it. Please accept my deepest sympathies and warm wishes. She will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
