Her hobbies and interests included family, neighbors, gardening, reading and shopping. She loved decorating and enjoyed talking about vintage radio shows such as Fibber McGee. She was a fan of Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball and enjoyed viewing their television shows. She was a loving mother and a fighter. It would be wrong to say she lost her battle to illness because she never stopped fighting.
No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Gerry stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
There was no quit in Gerry. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
When Gerry had her first of three children, she decided to dedicate her life to being a
fantastic and wonderful mother. She excelled at being a guiding star, propping up all members of her family, friends and neighbors, supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives.
She made it her mission to improve the lives of others. And she did just that.
How wonderful it is to say - We will never forget My Mother’s Voice - her words and lessons.
Gerry was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of 49 years, James Pirok and her siblings Robert Noha (Rosemary) and Bernard Noha (Shirley), loving mother, Gertrude Noha (Pionkey) and loving father, Charles Noha.
