Giuseppe Randazzo

Giuseppe Randazzo, age 84, peacefully passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He is survived by children, Maddalena (Mark) Santino, Maria (Gary) Rowell, Michele (Mary) Randazzo, Salvatore Randazzo, and daughter-in-law, Philomena Randazzo; grandchildren, Vito, Loretta and Joseph Santino, Michael Randazzo, Thomas (Andrea) Randazzo, Catherine (Chris) Wlezien, Jonathan (Sara) Rowell, Giuseppe (Megan) Rowell, Mary Rowell, Gary Rowell, Giuseppe Randazzo, Luigi (Erisa) Randazzo, Caterina Randazzo, Samantha Randazzo, Amanda Randazzo and Ryan Randazzo; great-grandchildren, Enzo and Nora Randazzo, Charlotte Rowell, Leah, Faith, Riley Randazzo and Oliver Wlezien; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Caterina Randazzo and son, Francesco Randazzo. Giuseppe was born July 3, 1937 in Altavilla Milicia, Sicily, Italy to the late Michele Randazzo and Maddalena Schillaci. On April 1, 1958, he married the love of his life, Caterina Culletta and, together, they shared 52 years. Giuseppe retired from Solo Cup Company with 25 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and hunting but, most importantly, his family was everything to him. Giuseppe was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Avenue, Highland, IN with Reverend Gregory A. Bim-Merle officiating. Entombment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday at the church from 12:00 PM prior to Mass.
