I was driving Jack and I to the NMRA Convention in San Francisco in 2011, when I was apprehended for exceeding the speed limit. After some discussion, the officer agreed to let me off with a warning, if Jack could tell him my height from my DL. Jack took a SWAG, and got it right. We continued to the convention with no further delays, and had a wonderful time. He was a good friend for 20 years.

I will miss your dad greatly. We had some fun and interesting times on his visits to Chicago. Driving around looking at trains, visiting hobby shops with our brother Jim were times to remember.

To Jaclin and all of Jack’s modern family ... I have only funny and sweet memories of the past and I know he loved all of you very much! And Uncle Tom: I know you miss your brothers and I am sorry for this loss. I am imagining corny puns and eye-rolling jokes galore in heaven .....
Love 💔 Donna
