He is survived by sisters, Joann (late Carl) Clark and Edith (Bruce Hendry) Ferrell; nieces and nephews, Bridget Clark, Christina Clark, Amber (Beau) Sich, Anthony (Allison) Ferrell, and Mychal (Iris) Ferrell; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Marie Brett; sister, Brenda Gougeon; and great nephew, Zach Amptmeyer.
Jamie found his greatest joy in the outdoors. Whether he was hunting in the woods, casting a line on the water, or simply enjoying nature’s beauty, he felt most at home surrounded by the things he loved. His passion for hunting, fishing, and outdoor life was more than a hobby, it was a way of life that brought him peace, adventure, and countless cherished memories.
Jamie was a dedicated and valued employee of Terpstra's Blue Water Marine, where he worked for many years. Through his hard work, loyalty, and friendly nature, he earned the respect and admiration of coworkers, customers, and friends alike. His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Family meant everything to Jamie. He especially enjoyed family gatherings, where his warm smile, easygoing nature, and sense of humor brought people together. He could often be found throwing a water balloon at you, especially if you were his niece, Bridget. As a proud and loving uncle, he cherished spending time with his nieces and nephews and could often be found playing with the children, making them laugh, and creating memories they will carry with them forever.
Jamie leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and appreciation for the outdoors. He will be remembered as a caring brother, devoted uncle, loyal friend, and a man who found happiness in simple pleasures and the company of those he loved most.
Though he will be dearly missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
