James Anthony Flores

James "Jimmy" A. Flores, age 51, of Wheatfield, IN passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. James was born December 30, 1969 to the late Jesse X. Flores, Sr. and Grace (Salazar) Nagy in Gary, IN.

Jimmy leaves behind his beloved wife, Tonya Flores; children, Harleah (Bailey) Hufstedler, David (Hollie) Ortiz; grandchild, Tristan; siblings, Jesse (Kristin) Flores, Cathy (Kenny) Haluska, Stephanie (Ryan) Shelbourne; step-dad, Steve Nagy; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He will be remembered for his hobbies, playing golf, going boating, and his love for his fur babies, Walther, Gunther, Baby Bellita, and KeKe. His background consisted of being a Mechanical Maintenance Tech with Local 1011. Jimmy was also the chairman of the Grievance Committee. He became staff at the International in 2015 and became a Sub 5 Director in 2018. His big heart and hearty smile is something that will forever be missed.

A public visitation for Jimmy will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, followed by a funeral service beginning at 5:00 PM with Deacon Bill Sayre officiating. A cremation committal service will take place privately.
