Obituary of James Matthew Krzeminski
James Krzeminski, 75, of Chicago, passed away on April 8, 2021 in Munster, IN from Leukemia, diabetes, and Covid-related symptoms. Born in Chicago on October 27, 1945, James was the son of Pearl and Joseph Kszyminski. He attended St. Barbara Grammer School and De La Salle Institute in Bridgeport. In November of 1969, he married Deanna Anderson, recently deceased. For much of his early life, James was employed at Stone Container where he made boxes in a factory setting. Ever since his early 20’s, James became very passionate about running/marathon training, biking, and hiking. James will be best remembered for the guy who could light up a room with his free spirited disposition and overall lightheartedness. He enjoyed volleyball, antiquing, WWF, sport cars, baseball and football especially cheering on his favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and Da Bears. James was very involved in his grandchildren's sports and was their biggest fan. He will be best remembered by his daughters, Shannon Krzeminski, and her two sons Brandon and Tyler Earmsmuth, and Shyla Rago, and her children, Tyson, Sofia, Lily, Chloe, and Lucy Wermeling, and also by Eric Krzeminski. He will also be revered by his surviving siblings, his sister, Sister Mary Josita Krzeminski, and brother, Joseph Krzeminski. Please keep James Krzeminski in your prayers as he may now rest in peace. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Robert Hoffenkamp officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of funeral service at the funeral home. James will be laid to rest privately by the family at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Please share expressions of sympathy and fond memories with the family on our website.
