James C. Lacy age 76, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, June 6, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jessie G. Lacy; son, David (JoAnn Ortiz) Lacy; adopted daughter, Patricia Daniels; grandchildren, Jimmy (Nikki) Linvill, Mikhail (Kim) Daniels, Joey (Christine) Linvill, Justine (Dan) Michielsen and Jacob Lacy; great-grandchildren, Khailen Daniels, Alexandria Linvill and Anaya Daniels; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl (nee Lacy) Linvill; parents, Glenn and Anna Lacy; siblings, Joan(Homer) Luchene and Arthur (Delores) Lacy.
James was born October 18, 1943 in Tipton, IN to the late Glen and Anna Lacy and was a graduate of Hammond Tech High School. He proudly served our country in the US Army Air Corp.
On February 6, 1965 he married the love of his life and together they enjoyed 55 years. James retired from Ford as a millwright with 35 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed.
James was a member of the Order of the Moose Lodge 1258 in Schererville, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating.
Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
