Jeffrey S. Takacs CHICAGO FORMERLY OF LANSING, IL-Jeff Takacs, age 51, of Chicago, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2017. Jeff is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patricia and John Marta; father, Kenneth (Virginia) Takacs; half- brother, Steve Takacs; step-sisters: Antoinette (Maurice) Naidoo, Michelle (Michael) Speiser; and his 99 yr. old grandmother, Florence Zeman: cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. After Jeff graduated from Thornton Fractional South in 1984, he moved to Chicago to pursue his dream becoming active with the Second City Theatre group. Jeff was an avid Chicago sports fan and worked as a beer vendor for the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Bulls games for many years. For the past 17 years he was employed by Radio America. Visitation will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his memorial service at 12:00 p.m. noon at CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME (8178 Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375) with Fr.
