Judith is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Thelma (Rogers) Engle; beloved husband, Howard A. Carter; brother, Robert (Fran) Engle; sister, Jerri (Robert) Cox; and her son, Michael (Susan) Carter.
She is survived by her loving children, Scott (Linda) Carter and Diane Carter; and her grandchildren, Rachael, Zachary, and Andrew Carter.
Mom was a very caring and compassionate nurse, working in nursing homes caring for elderly residents. Her family was her pride and joy. She would do anything for them.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307 on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
