Saying Julie was passionate is an understatement. Whether it was painting her kitchen floor, building a greenhouse, making her famous chocolate cake or raising chickens, Julie did it with finesse. Julie’s love for her children and family was profound. She enjoyed nothing more than everyone gathering at her place to swim, barbeque and just be together. She loved keeping family traditions such as making pierogi and her delicious gingerbread cookies at Christmas. Birthdays were not complete until Sto Lat was sung. She was a fierce and loyal friend to those she held dear. Julie retired from BP Amoco Refinery in Whiting in 2020 after 30 years of service. Julie was truly the heart of her family and leaves behind a legacy that is woven into the lives of everyone she touched.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
