Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who found her greatest happiness in the people she loved. She shared 51 years of marriage with her husband, Wayne McNeiley, and together they built a life filled with family, memories, and love.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; her sons, Robert Berry, Joseph McNeiley, and Jason (Amber) McNeiley; her grandchildren, Felisha, Robert, Samantha, Keira, and Franklin; and three great-grandchildren.
Karen enjoyed bowling and loved spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers and garden. She had a special love for her grandchildren and always cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Those closest to her will remember the many ordinary moments that became special simply because she was there.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Mildred Billings; her son, Frank McNeiley; and her brother, Dennis Billings.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
In accordance with Karen’s wishes, she will be cremated and later laid to rest beside her son, Frank, at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
