Lillian A. Lesniak

Lillian A. Lesniak (nee: Orzechowicz), age 82 of Crown Point, passed away April 26, 2010. She is survived by five children: Karen (Brad) Smith of Highland, Sue Lesniak and Lisa Cittadino both of Lake Orion, MI, Kathy (David) Starko of Crown Point, and John Lesniak of Highland; four grandchildren: Aaron Smith, Chris, Megan, and Jeff Kors; one sister, Jean (Stan) Mastey of Schererville. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert; one brother; and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Moszur officiating. Cremation to follow with burial of ashes at Chapel Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. (4:30 p.m. prayer service) at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. (three blocks south of Rt. 30), Schererville, IN. Friends may also visit Thursday morning from 10:00-10:30 a.m. (time of service). Mrs. Lesniak was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church and was a volunteer at Our lady of Mercy Hospital in Dyer for 10 years. Lillian was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
