Lorraine Margaret Miller Mills

Lorraine was born April 2, 1926 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Jacob and Margaret Miller. In 1943, she married the love of her life for over 57 years, Richard Mills Sr. Richard passed away in 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Judy Mills.

Survivors are her children, Richard (Marjorie) Mills Jr., Janet (Steve) Fudge, Joanne (John) Koepl, grandchildren, Richard (Joanna) III, Robb (Kellee), Andrew (Gabriell), Kelly (Martin), Kari (Patrick), and 7 great grandchildren.

She and her husband enjoyed their time at their river cottage, playing cards with friends and a trip or two to Las Vegas. They were still in love with each other and adored one another. She was a selfless and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lorraine was a pleasure to be around and making others feel wanted and appreciated. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 1-5 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375).
