Margie L. Nowicki

Margie Lee Golden-Olson- Nowicki went to Glory on December 3, 2013 at 4:15 PM. She was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee on November 12, 1931. Margie was the daughter of Frank and Mamie Golden who preceded her in death. She retired from Owen’s Illinois Glass after working there for 20 years. Margie was married 52 years to Delmar James Nowicki, who preceded her in death on March 13, 2013. One grandson, Alexander James Ward, preceded her in death in 1985. Margie is survived by her son, Stan (Debbie) Olson and their children: Steven (Brianda) Olson, Daniel (Sandra) Olson, John Olson, Matthew Olson, Deborah (Alex) Irving. She is also survived by her daughter, Cathy L. (Aggy) Christensan and their children: Michael, Britta, and Jason Nosbaum. Margie is also survived by her youngest daughter, Linda S. Nowicki (John J.) Ward and their children: Aaron J. Ward and Ashley L. Ward. Margie’s loving great grandchildren include: Michelle Olson, Izzy Olson, Finn Nosbaum and Lilly Nosbaum. Margie will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN) with Rev. Randy Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
