Maria Daniel

Maria Daniel, age 79, of Crown Point, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024 with her loving family at her side. Maria is the loving wife to the late Leslie Daniel; beloved mother to Lester Daniel and Brian Daniel; proud grandmother to Alaina, Julia, Lucas and Max Daniel; dear friend to Virginia Rivera, Cynthia Rodriguez, Joseph Rivera, Edward Rivera and Susan Rivera. At age 18, Maria bravely came to the United States from Mexico in hopes of opportunity. She met the love of her life at work and they were happily married for more than 40 years. Maria was a very proud UAW Union worker. She retired after 30 years of faithful service at Ford Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights. She was an avid gardener. Her family will fondly remember her as being a strong and loving mother and grandmother. Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
