Marjorie Alice Samson

Marjorie was born May 14, 1939 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Walter and Mary (Taus) Campbell. Also preceding her in death are her husband of forty years, Donnell Samson, who passed in 2000, a daughter, Janine Samson, who passed in May, and a reconnected companion, Dave Brock, who also passed away in May.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna (Roger) Limbach and Deanna Samson; a granddaughter, Sarah Limbach; sister, Mary Lou (James) Platis; cousin, Patricia (Raymond) Brown, and many other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Samson worked for Grimmer Middle School in Schererville for over 10 years, she then worked for Tiebels Restaurant. Marjorie was a loving and compassionate caretaker for her family while raising her three daughters and caring for her husband. People were attracted to her by her laughter and personality. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Visitation will be Monday, December 7, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cine Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375) Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
