

Nicholas was born December 1, 1987, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Mark Lesniak and Janet Lee Speletich, both whom survive.
Also surviving are his step father, Darryl Fullgraf; step mother, Lisa Jobbe; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Sandra Speletich; paternal grandfather Ted Lesniak; brother, Blake Lesniak; sister, Randi Jobbe; Uncle, Ronald Speletich Jr.; Aunts, Kim (Jim) Gardzulis; his Lesniak Aunts, Debbie, Diane, Dawn and Lisa; special cousins, Stephen and Ryan Stolzenbach, Jacob Gardzulis, Nicole Giannetta, Corey Halsted, Danielle Keller, Rachel Rhodes, Gianna Myers, Tayler Fuentes, Tori Fuentes, and Gabrielle Lesniak, and his girlfriend, Suzanne Akers.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Judith Lesniak.
Nick was a 2006 Crown Point High School graduate. After graduating high school, he explored different areas of healthcare as a career. He was a certified EMT, paramedic, firefighter, CNA. He then became a certified dialysis technician at DaVita Dialysis. Nick graduated from Everest College of Nursing, and was excited about starting his nursing career. He was an animal lover, owning and exceptionally caring for 4 dogs at home, Princess, Bailey, Hershey and Pups. Also sharing responsibility of another dog Willow with his girlfriend. As a final act of compassion towards the sick and suffering, Nicholas was an organ and tissue donor.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 2-7 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Funeral services will be Monday, February 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
