Mary T. Barron

Mary T. Barron, age 73, of Schererville, IN, passed away on November 22, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert "Bob" Barron; sons, Robert Barron and Richard (Milica) Barron; honorary son, James Barron; grandchildren, Anastasia "Stacey", Robert, Dylan, Aydan, Lilijana, Andrijana, and Tatjana; siblings, John (Debbie) Broderick and Nancy Scalzitti; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Broderick; and parents, Gwendolyn and John Broderick.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, with visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 5:00 pm. Private burial will take place on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mary worked as a business office administrator for Edward Jones for over twenty years. She was incredibly proud when she achieved the rank of senior branch office administrator there. Mary was an avid animal lover, and is survived by her beloved pomeranian, Molly, and cat, Kitty Cat. If you had the pleasure of meeting her throughout her life, then you knew what it was to love her. Regardless of how long she knew you, she was supportive, kind, and loving. She was a believer in God, a travel fanatic, a shopaholic, fast car enthusiast, and most of all, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister.
