

Nell was born July 24, 1916, in Patterson, New Jersey to the late William and Pauline Stankevich. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Edward Jurczak; sisters, Marcy, Julia, Dorothy, Frances, and Eva; and brother, Bill.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cathie (Mickey) Angotti; grandchildren, Danny (Nicole) Angotti, and Gina Angotti; great grandchildren Khloe and Lucca; sisters, Anne Pridala and Daisy Talley; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
After high school Nell stayed to help take care of her family and brothers and sisters. During WWII she worked at the Kingsbury ammunition plant in LaPorte, Indiana. Her favorite place to visit in her younger years was on a ranch in Wyoming. She and her husband then resided in Calumet City. Where she was a faithful member of St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church, and belonged to the Ladies Rosary Society and Sunshine Club. She was also a member of the Knights of Lithuania Council #82. She was a caring Girl Scout Leader and a talented and accomplished baker. She remained close to her large family, still playing bingo and scrabble with her sisters. Most of all she enjoyed being with and caring for her grandchildren in their younger years.
A mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (768 Lincoln Ave; Calumet City, Illinois 60409) with Fr. Jacek Dada officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375), and again from 9:00 am until the time of the mass on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
