Nora Lee Kilgore

Nora was born June 3, 1932 in Castlewood, VA to the late William and Nanie (Suss) Johnson. On September 26, 1949, she married William Kilgore. Of this union, they had three children, Jerry Kilgore (Denise Graves), Bobby (Marcia) Kilgore, Judy (Ron) Madziarczyk; grandchildren, Kristy (Jose) Alvarez, Carrie (Harris) Kirmani, and Steve Madziarczyk(Elizabeth Keller); great grandchildren, Samuel, Kayla, Antonio, Faith, Abby, and sister-in-law, Patsy Johnson, loving nieces and nephews Char, Al, and Jake.

Preceded by siblings, Verdie Keith, Tempie Moore, Joe Johnson, and Robert Johnson.

Mrs. Kilgore was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and caretaker for her large family. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She will be greatly missed by those she touched.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375). Funeral services will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
