NORMA K. STRINGFELLOW (NEE VAN SCOY) HAMMOND, IN Norma Stringfellow, age 74, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2013. She is survived by her loving daughters: Mary (late Alan) Patka and Ruby (Robert) Waterstraat; dear grandchildren: David and Jonathan Kimmel, Michael and Christopher Dawson, Holly (Jason) Harris and Kassandra Lore; great grandmother of four; brother, Dale Van Scoy; and cousin, Janet Meyers. Preceded in death by her son, Robert Lore; and daughter, Brenda Lore. Norma was a graduate of Washington High School in East Chicago, class of 1956. She was a dedicated nurse for 20+ years. Norma will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN) with Rev. Mark Wilkins officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org)
