Merle and family, I only heard about Norm's passing at Church yesterday...Ron and I are so sorry for your loss. Norm was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor (which helped a lot when he was supervising us at Court.) He was so caring and loving. I cherish all my memories of Norm. Our prayers and sympathy are with the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. We are happy to have had the honor to know Grandpa Spencer. He will always live on in all of our thoughts and lives.

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Mr. Spencer.  I have many fond memories of moments at your house in Hammond.  I am sorry we lost touch over the years.  I think of you often and am sorry I could not be with you today.

I did not know Norm personally but parents are displayed through their children and Luanne is one of the greatest people God has let me know. I am praying for the family.

My deepest sympathy to you at this time of need.  What an outstanding, compassionate, and caring guy!  I think of you all the time when walking by your house on Normandy and the laughs we had.  And will always remember how he and Merle saved my lab when he was kicked in the side and had a ruptured spleen.  They were my "ROCK" and got us to the vet in time!  And allll the interesting stories Norm always told, what a guy!!!  My spirit and heart will be with you today even tho I am out of town and cannot attend the service. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.  Love

I had the pleasure of meeting Norman and Merle when they were considering Wittenberg Village for their retirement living community.  Norman and I shared that my father was a policeman in Terre Haute and we had many things in common to discuss.  My sincerest sympathies to Merle and the family in this time of loss of a special man.
