Trishie was born on November 28, 1944, and passed away on September 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Haney; along with her brothers, Stanley Cummings, Harold Cummings, and Rodell Cummings; and her parents, Patrick and Sybil Cummings.
Her life's work included being an associate at Fannie May Candy for several years, and assisting at a Crown Point bakery for many years.
Trishie was a member of Southlake Christian Church, and a faithful attendee for many years. She was an avid reader and excellent homemaker before she became incapacitated.
Survivors include her sister, Dolores Jean Montgomery of Indianapolis, IN; sister-in-laws, Sandy Cummings and Maureen Cummings of Griffith, IN; along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Trishie will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
