Pauline Helen Wagner

Pauline Helen Wagner age 80, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Michael Joseph Wagner; children, Evelyn (Eugene) Watroba, Michael (Donna) Wagner Jr., Geraldine (Anthony) Basso, Patricia (Craig) White and Mark (Tina) Wagner; grandchildren, Michelle (Robert) Kmetz, Kathy Kotas, Kim (Rory) Hill, Timothy (Melissa) Palmer, Kevin (Sarah) Wagner, Dan Palmer, Nicole Palmer, Kelly (Joshua) Watters, Rae (Mitchell) Lawrence, Zachary Wagner and Logan Wagner; great grandchildren, Dawn, John, Brittany, Ashley, Sydney, Madison, Shyann, Addison, Joseph, Aubrey, Claire, Landon M. , Landon T., Rylan and Bodie; great great-grandson, Deacon and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by her brother, Walter Engel and grandson, Brian Watroba. Pauline was born March 2, 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late Donald and Mary Engel and was a graduate of Knox High School. She received her degree in nursing and worked at Dyer Mercy, St. Catherine and White County Community Hospitals. On October 29, 1965, she married the love of her life, Michael Joseph Wagner and together they raised 5 children. Pauline enjoyed gardening, drinking wine, visiting wineries and especially attending all of her grandchildren's many activities. Pauline was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Deacon Joseph Codespoti officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 3:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
