Raymond "Ray" Januska, Sr., age 68, of Hammond, IN, passed away on August 2, 2026. He is survived by his sons, Raymond (Melissa) Januska, Jr., and Billy (Lauren) Januska; mother of sons, Patty Jakubowicz; and grandchildren, James, Jon, and Jude.
As per his wishes, Ray has been cremated, and no services will be held.
Ray will be remembered for his love of fishing, his remarkable skill as a handyman, and the care he put into crafting birdhouses that brought beauty and life to the outdoors. After retiring from Ford following many years of dedicated service, he enjoyed spending time doing what he loved most — working with his hands, being in nature, and sharing laughs with family and friends. His wicked sense of humor could brighten any room, and his generosity, craftsmanship, and unforgettable smile will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
