Raymond Edward Maki

Ray is the loving husband to the late Marie "Mary" Maki; beloved father to Todd (Kelly) Maki and Lori (Stephen Anton) Maki; proud Papa to Adalyn and Briana Maki; cherished brother to the late Sandra Valente; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ray honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Walsh Construction as a foreman after 30 years of faithful service. He will be always remembered for his generosity, by donating to numerous charities. His duties as a foreman did not stop when he retired. He continued being a foreman for his family and friends, overseeing all projects, big and small, and checking that it was done to his standard. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Funeral at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A private Family Burial will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated toward the ASPCA.
