Richard James Fredrickson

Richard Fredrickson, age 45, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Tracy Anne Fredrickson nee Patterson; beloved children: Zachery “Z-Man” and Gabrielle “G-Girl” Fredrickson; father, Robert (Patricia) Fredrickson; step-father, Richard Tragnitz; brother, Robert (Tamara) Fredrickson; sister, Beth (George) Martens; in-laws: Mike and Carol Patterson and sisters-in-law: Michelle Williams, Lisa (Nathan) Hepworth and Theresa (Richard) Martz; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother, Melodee Tragnitz and grandmothers: Marie Schram and Joyce Fredrickson.

Richard was a member of the IUEC Local #2. He enjoyed riding his bike, spending time with his family and friends, but most of all watching his two children play sports.

He will be missed by his AWOL Brothers and Sisters and all that knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN) Rev. Len Dubi officiating.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zachary and Gabrielle’s education fund.
