RICHARD KOTECKI DYER, IN Richard Kotecki, age 61, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharon Kotecki; daughter, Alicyn (Brian) Demoff of Cedar Lake, IN; grandchildren: Jacob Ortiz, Brandon Demoff, and Lauren Demoff; mother, Mary Kotecki of Dyer, IN; brother, Robert (Sharon) Kotecki of Jupiter, FL; and sister, Lori (Keith) Bohlin of Michigan City, IN. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Preceded in death by his father, Harry Kotecki. Richard enjoyed playing golf with his friends Tom, Jerry and Pete, watching his beloved Chicago Bears, Bulls and White Sox, but most of all, spending time with his loving family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN). Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
