September 7, 1950 - June 9, 2020
Robert Allen Green, also known as Bob, grew up in Crown Point, Indiana, attended St. Mary's Catholic
school & graduated from Crown Point High School. He met his future wife Brenda at Burger Chef in Highland & married her in 1974. Robert was a loving father of three sons, then along came two daughter in-laws & three grandchildren whom he adored.
After high school he served in the US Army, jumping out of airplanes. Afterwards he started out working for his dad at Crown Carpet & continued with his own business "Green's Tile" until his retirement in 2020
Bob discovered his love of art while attending art class at Crown Point High School. Hundreds of oil paintings later, he blossomed into an amazingly skilled artist.
Some of his other hobbies included woodworking, target shooting, gardening & creating all manner of things with his hands. He was a hands on guy & practically even built his own house.
Per Bob's request there will be no funeral service. Thank you to everyone for all your love & support.
