I am very sorry to hear of Rose's passing.  I will never forget the kindnesses and love she and Bill showed to my mother Jean (Weaver) Vellner long after Rose  and my mother were no longer sisters - in -law.   My sister, Susan Vellner Tumosa, and "Aunt Rose" had a particularly close relationship.  I am sure they are together in heaven as Susan passed on November 6, 2021 and was there to greet our beloved "Aunt Rose".  My deepest sympathies to her family.


I only briefly knew Rose for a just over a year. I use to come and help her twice daily.  I enjoyed my time with Rose. I loved how she would tell me stories about her and her family.  So many years of wonderful memories! I’m saddened by her passing. I wish I would’ve met her years ago. Such a sweet and kind lady. God speed Aunt Rose! You will be missed by all ❤️


Rose will be missed by many but we now have peace in our hearts knowing she is in a better place and with her one true love, Bill. 

When my grandfather passed away, she mourned him each day, her heart never repairing. 40 years of marriage to my grandfather wasn’t long enough. I have never met two people more in-love and dedicated to one another. They were truly soul mates and I am at peace knowing they are now, finally reunited. 

Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Rose, loved and respected her. She was such a wonderful person and grandma. I have so many great memories traveling in the camper, visiting the lake and sleep overs  when I was a young girl. There was never a dull moment spending time with her and my grandfather, memories forever in my heart. 

She will forever be missed and fondly remembered.

Sending our love and condolences to Tom, Rosemary, and all the extended family and friends during this difficult time. While we take great comfort knowing that Aunt Rose has been reunited with Uncle Bill and is in the presence of God, we miss them both dearly. Aunt Rose was such an excellent caregiver and role model, tenderly supporting and uplifting Uncle Bill during his health complications. She brought light and warmth into their home and made visitors and guests feel so welcome and appreciated! Before the pandemic, we enjoyed many lunches and conversations together. Aunt Rose always brought a smile to our faces and cultivated joy in our hearts. May God continue to sustain us and bring strength as we celebrate Rose's life and legacy.

Our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of Rose.  She was a loving wife and a faithful supporter of Jim's brother Bill.  She and Bill loved each other very much.  She was the best friend Bill ever had.   When Bill was being taken to the hospital on the day he died, he said to Rose, "I will see you in heaven."  His words have now come true.

Sending condolences to Tom and Rosemary at this sad time. You were so faithful in caring for your Aunt Rose.  Remembering the holidays and how much she enjoyed them.  May she be at peace now until we all meet again.
