Rosemary McCann Doell

ROSEMARY DOELL PORTAGE, IN Rosemary Doell, 85 of Portage, Indiana, died Saturday May 28, 2011. Rosemary was born to the late Jerome and Amanda Hosey McCann in Hammond, Indiana on July 10, 1925. She married Robert E. Doell on September 28, 1942 and he preceded her on October 10, 1982. Rosemary was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. During her life she attended Hessville Church of God and Riverside Park Reformed Church. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Barb Doell, Bruce and Jan Doell; one daughter, Donna Jannasch, one sister, Doris Martin, six grandchildren, Robert C, Jason, and Bonnie Doell, Deborah Fields, Scott Jannasch, and Kelly Leath; ten great grandchildren: Ashley and Corey Jannasch, Abigail Leath, Christian Doell, Katherine and Hannah Doell, Emily, Carly, Conner and Carson Fields. She is preceded by four sisters. Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home , 8178 Cline Ave Schererville, In 46375. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of North West Indiana.
