He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen Grace Smith; children, Timothy (Chris) Smith Jr., Tina Mack and Kimberly (Marcus Hanson) Smith; grandchildren, Samuel (Angelina Butala-Guiffre) Smith, Lauren (Sean White Jr.) Smith,Eric Mack and Logan Mack; great grandchildren, Bryson Andrew Angusich and Marceline Betty-Grace Smith; brother, Charles Thomas (Lola) Smith; sister in law, Linda Summerlott and many extended members of the family and friends.
Tim was born on February 17, 1951 in Danville, IL to the late Clyde Eugene Smith and Helen Marie Whittle and attended Morton High School. He proudly served our country inthe US Army. On September 17, 1968, he married the love of his life and together they raised three children. Tim retired from Arcelor Mittal with 30 years of service.
Tim was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hessville Baptist Church 6423 Arizona Avenue Hammond, IN.
