Trudy was married to her beloved husband, Charles Pickett, for thirty-three years before his passing.
Trudy is survived by her daughter, Kerry (Fredrick) Goss; step-children, Timothy (Julie) Pickett and Cynthia (Chuck) Pace; siblings, Beckie Magurany and Dallas (Eleanor) Parlor; nieces, Heather (Ed) Deering and Tiffany (Jeff) Lator; nephew, Andrew Magurany; and many step-grandchildren and cousins. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Betty Parlor; husband, Charles Pickett; and step-son, Charles Pickett.
Trudy will be remembered for her caring spirit, hardworking nature, and love for family and animals. In her free time, Trudy enjoyed painting and drawing, and watching her favorites such as Judge Judy, game shows, and professional wrestling. She had a deep love for animals and shared her life with many beloved pets over the years. Her granddogs, Daisey and Oliver, held a special place in her heart, as did Shelly, the family's cherished bearded dragon. Trudy's warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bernardo Lucena, the team of specialists, and the many hard-working nurses who took care of Trudy at Methodist Southlake.
