Also left to cherish his memory are his sons, Arthur (Mary) Harms and Ralph Harms; grandchildren, Alan (Bailey) Harms and Claire (fiancé Leo) Harms; sisters, Carolyn Sovich, Ann Marlow, and Sara Artka; several nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends and neighbors.
Wally honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for several years at Metz and Walsh & Kelly. After retirement he loved gardening and enjoyed his free vegetable stand he had in his front yard, talking to people and making new friends. Wally was also a talented woodworker making tables, cabinets, and doll houses for his family.
