Wanda Lee Hyatte

Wanda Lee Hyatte age 83, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Charles E. Hyatte, Jack P. (Cornell Jones) Hyatte, Gary Hyatte, Larry Hyatte, April Hyatte and Brenda (James) Tokarz; grandchildren, Jennifer Tokarz, James Tokarz, Amber Tokarz, Steve (Bernice) Hyatte, Scott (Susanne) Armstrong; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Lester Clark, Raymond (Christina) Clark and Norman Leggitt; sister in law, Charlotte Clark; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and her canine companions, Shadow and Jasper Rose. Preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Ava Clark; husband, Charles G. Hyatte; daughter, Jane L. Armstrong and granddaughter, Rose Marie Mateo. Wanda was a woman of God and a longtime member of Chicago Church of Christ and Holy Name Catholic Church in Cedar Lake, IN. She was kind, loving, sincere and generous to others. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church (11000 W. 133rd Avenue, Cedar Lake, IN) with Rev. Michael Surufka officiating.

Inurnment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service at the church.
